An over-18s dark fantasy gathering

Once known as Fantasy Con Scotland, the story now enters its next chapter – The Unseelie Gathering, an immersive dark fantasy event for over 18’s.

Once a year, creatures from every world – fae, demons, vampires, witches, wolves, and mortals alike – are drawn together in a place where no one can remain neutral.

Three ancient families – The Withered, The Flameborn, and The Nightweavers – clash in a timeless rivalry, each vying for the Thorned Crown.

On arrival, you must pledge your loyalty to one family. From there, your story begins. Complete quests, uncover secrets, face challenges, or simply raise a tankard in the tavern. Every action you take helps tip the balance of power. At the end of the day, the points are counted, and only one family will seize the Crown until the Gathering returns.

This is more than a convention – this is a living story.

On arrival, you must swear your loyalty to one family.

How It Works

1. Choose Your Family
Upon entering the Gathering, swear your loyalty to The Withered, The Flameborn, or The Nightweavers.

2. Take on Quests
Seek out tasks across the day – riddles, challenges, and hidden bargains await.

3. Earn Points
Every quest completed, every secret uncovered, every deed done wins points for your family.

4. Claim the Thorned Crown
As the day draws to a close, points are tallied. One family will rise victorious, crowned until the Gathering opens again.
